1/4 Scale Model of the Liar's Psyche combines electronic sequencing
with live drum performance and other recorded sound, blurring
the line between the electronic and the organic. There is a focus
is on melodic hooks and near pop-like song structures, while retaining
the elements of repetition and textural shifts that are native
to electronic music. The predominately dark moods are offset delicately
with head-nodding rhythms.
Corey McCafferty resides in Chicago. In addition to his solo
output, he performs in the live/electronic group Ark of Limbs.
